Spindles Wins BCO Northern Innovation Award for Adaptive Reuse
SpaceInvader joined Oldham Council and partners to celebrate the official presentation of the BCO Northern Innovation Award at the newly transformed Spindles Shopping Centre. This award-winning project is a landmark in adaptive reuse, civic architecture, and high street regeneration, turning a 1990s shopping centre into a sustainable civic hub with public services, flexible workspaces, and community spaces at its core.

Our fit-out for Overbury at Chancery Place, Manchester has won Workplace Fit-out of the Year at the Insider North West Property Awards. Described by judges as “visually stunning” with “a strong design and clear identity”, the project showcases bold thinking, clear intent, and collaborative execution.

SpaceInvader has been named a finalist in three categories at the Mix Awards 2025, recognising the studio’s commitment to innovative, sustainable and impactful commercial interior design. Projects for Radius Global Telematics and Eden at New Bailey have both been shortlisted for their design excellence and positive contribution to people and place.
