Renold Building Wins Project of the Year: Positive Impact at the Mix Awards North 2025
The SpaceInvader team celebrating their win at the Mix Awards North 2025, where the Renold Building was named Project of the Year: Positive Impact.
We’re closing out 2025 on a high, with a major milestone for SpaceInvader and our collaborators, the Renold Building has been awarded Project of the Year: Positive Impact at the Mix Awards North 2025. It’s a recognition we’re incredibly proud of and our second consecutive win in this powerful category.
The award honours the kind of design we believe in resourceful, collaborative, and rooted in real impact. The Renold Building has become a defining example of how circular design and radical reuse can reimagine what’s possible within existing structures.
Working in partnership with Bruntwood SciTech and Sister, and supported by a brilliant team of experts and consultants, we embraced a low-carbon, resource-light approach. The result is a bold, expressive and commercially intelligent reuse of space that champions environmental responsibility without compromising character or functionality.
We’re particularly proud of how this project brings our values to life, proving that design can be both sustainable and inspiring. It reflects the best of what SpaceInvader stands for: people-focused design, creative collaboration, and meaningful outcomes.
Thank you to Mix Interiors for recognising the Renold Building, and to every partner, collaborator and team member who made this project possible. Your commitment and creativity shaped something truly meaningful.
