Overbury Manchester HQ workspace design by SpaceInvader featured in FX Magazine

Our design for Overbury’s new Manchester HQ has found its place in the latest issue of FX Magazine, and we couldn’t be prouder.

This project was about more than just creating an office, it was about shaping a space that feels alive and fosters human connection. From the spiralling nautilus shell feature in the welcome area ceiling to soft curves and tactile textures throughout, every design element encourages people to gather, collaborate, and feel part of the space.

The interiors draw inspiration from Manchester’s heritage, with subtle terracotta tones referencing the city’s iconic Victorian red brick. Organic forms and biophilic details bring warmth and calm, striking a balance between focus and collaboration.

We’re grateful to FX Magazine for sharing the story of this unique workplace. The feature celebrates a design approach where practicality meets personality, and spaces bring people together in meaningful ways.
