Hip hip hooray to us! SpaceInvader’s Leeds interior design studio is celebrating its first birthday after a strong year of growth and client wins.
A year on from launching our interior design studio at The Green Sand Foundry, we are extremely proud to boast an impressive increase of our client base across Yorkshire, which now includes organisations such as RBA, Stirling Investments and Quorn.
One of the stand out projects we recently completed from our Leeds studio is a new 65,000 sq ft office suite at the landmark Number One Kirkstall Forge scheme, for independent leasing and fleet management provider Zenith, which provides the firm with a flexible and agile space for staff relocating there.
In addition, we have also really proud to have designed the communal areas of the six-storey office building for landlord CEG – including a new café, shared meeting spaces and business lounges. The development recently won the 2018 British Council for Offices’ (BCO) National Commercial Workplace Award.
Sarah Dodsworth, Associate Director and Head of SpaceInvader Leeds, said: “It’s been a fantastic year for us, delivering award winning projects as well as expanding our client book. Now, 80 per cent of work delivered from the Leeds studio is for Yorkshire-based clients. We feel very much at home here and we’re excited to continue making our mark on the city.”
“We see a lot of growth potential in the region, as businesses increasingly see the link between productivity, talent retention and excellence through workplace design.”
